Update NEW
by: Lisa P

Renee, I'm afraid I don't have positive news. My husband and I see a new alternative MD in Orlando, Dr. Karen Evans and while she is good, I am still struggling with Reverse T3 for the 4th time in my life. This is NOT her fault however and she is a very knowledgeable and willing participant in my recovery. I have found so very many more answers on a Facebook group called the Magnesium Advocacy Group. My body's inability to get my Ferritin levels up is explained there after much, much study. There are underlying mineral imbalances in Zinc, Copper, Ceruplasmin & Magnesium red blood cell levels despite my doing everything I'm supposed to do. My Practitioner on that group, Morley Robbins is incredible and says I'm recovering with what I'm doing based on my bloodwork and hair analysis that I did with him. He has been wonderful! He says you just need a little more time. Ugh. I've spent years feeling bad, just want to go back to work. But I DO feel I am close. Check out the group, but you must read their pinned post and some information in the files section and get the required bloodwork and hair analysis if you want their advice. However I have gleaned much from simply reading the files and posts in months past.

Lisa, Would You Update US? NEW
by: Renee'

HI, LIsa.

I desperately need a doc that understands AF and Hypothyroidism. I'm in the Tampa Bay area and can't find a one. I too, prefer a functional med.MD, or DO. An ND would be great but, we know they are not lice sensed in FL.

Please post an update on your treatment/recovery, if you wouldn't mind. Pleeeeeease.

Technically, I can't really vouch for these folks, but when I posted, someone was nice enough to tell me about these people. Here is a copy of the post:

Age Management & Optimal Wellness Center NEW
by: David

If you are willing to drive a little, you should look into Age Management & Optimal Wellness Center in Tampa. They were able to help me and they are very understanding and accommodated me with the distance (from Miami). I just have to see the doctor face to face one time a year and the rest of the time they help me over the phone. Thought you might be interested! - See more at: https://www.adrenalfatiguerecovery.com/orlando-fl-need-addisons-doctor-fast-my-doc-closed-his-office-leaving-us-with-nothing.html#sthash.gFiwBZ40.dpuf

Hope this helps you! I'm in Orlando and see a wonderful Doctor here if you were to want to drive that far. Dr. Karen Evans. Let me know if you need to know more. Best wishes, Lisa P.
