Eastern Long Island, NY - Looking

I've been battling a severe rash for over 3 months, cannot sleep, severe stress which I am unable to even barely cope with little issues. I feel extremely fatigued etc...gone to Family Doctor, Allergist, Endo ...no one can help nor do they understand. I have been diagnosed also as chemcially sensitive...I NEED HELP DESPERATELY and am now out of work, so unfortuantely money is also an issue!

Thanks for ANYONE out there able to help!!

Rash and Lyme disease. NEW

You may also have Lyme disease. The rash could be an important symptom. They often go together. Lyme disease is hard to treat so catching it early is very important.

See a Naturopathic Doctor NEW

I'm sorry you are feeling awful but there is hope! Your situation sounds a little like what mine was and I had a skin rash as well.

I had awful adrenal fatigue for 2 years and my medical doctor couldn't figure out what was wrong with my because he said my cortisol levels were fine as was a lot of stuff. He only took ONE blood test to determine this and when I went to my Naturopathic Doctor (I needed a referral from my MD to see an ND, which was tough though you may not need a referral), she determined my cortisol level was low using an all-day saliva test which makes more sense since it takes snapshots of my cortisol levels through out the day. Anyway, mine were really low and I felt terrible all the time and couldn't work. I got better with supplements and dietary changes (I also had Candid Albicans). I thought I was all better and started eating a lot of white sugar and white flour and only took my adrenal supplements here and there. Recently it caught up with me and I am feeling awful again but I know if I go back to my positive dietary changes and take my supplements like I should be, I will be fine again. The jitteryness and anxiety is one of the most annoying parts. I'm trying meditation, yoga and walking to help with that. I'm on the third day of my healthy plan and though I do notice positive results, it will take some time. I'm not going to fall off the bandwagon again because I want to work and enjoy life. If I have a cookie in the future, it will be ONE so that it doesn't hurt me like I let it.

If you can, look for a Naturopathic Doctor who can help you. My Endocronologist told me that he thinks I should keep seeing her because mainstream medical doctors really aren't able to help me since I react better to supplements than medicine-there is a difference. I know he was being nice when he said this and I agree with him. Good luck with your search and I hope you feel better.
